Middle & High School After School program: semi private art lessons & immersion

6 week session, twice a week for 12 sessions total; on Mondays and Thursdays, starting on September 8th, 2025, from 3:30 to 5:30pm in Wayne, PA (next to Roberts Elementary School).

Curriculum will focus on historic artists such as Berthe Morisot, Vincent Van Gogh, Marie Laurencin, Claude Monet and more! Students will learn about a new artist every week and create an art project based around that artist’s aesthetic and process. Watercolor and sketching supplies provided. If the student would like to work with oil or acrylic, a supply list can be provided for them to purchase.

Tuition: $1500

Students are allowed one make up session for illness or travel. This class is capped at 6 people.

Beginning Oil painting for adults

If you are a beginner in oil painting but are passionate about learning and would like to challenge yourself, this is the class for you! In this 6 week class, students will learn about oil painting supplies, the properties of oil paint, how to mix oil paints with different mediums, how to work “fat over lean”, working with brushes and palette knives, color mixing ratios, paint and solvent safety, painting the still life, painting from a live clothed model, painting plein air, and copying a master work. In between practical applications, students will also learn about the techniques of master artists like Waterhouse, Monet, and Botticelli, as well as various contemporary artists.

Monday September 22, Monday September 29, Monday October 6, Monday October 13, Monday October 20, (no class October 27 in observance of Thanksgiving), Monday October 3.

Time: 6:30 to 8:30pm
