“Bride of Ice” is an original pastel and colored pencil on paper work by Jessica Libor that is 9 × 12”, made in Iceland. Framed in a white wooden 11 × 14” frame.

I was inspired to create this image in my residency in Iceland, where I learned of the lineage of Icelandic women whose roots were in Ireland and Scotland, part of my heritage. Above her is the Icelandic Biifrost, which is the rainbow bridge that connects the land of mortals and Asgard, the land of the gods in Icelandic folklore.
