Lavender Moon (study) by Jessica Libor is a 6 × 8” original watercolor painting on paper framed in a wooden 8 × 10” frame.

This is my small painting in watercolor I did in preparation for my larger oil painting inspired by the same idea. I had a dream like inspiration of a flowing river through a pastoral, surreal landscape, with symbols and characters experiencing it. The woman figure was inspired by a ballerina, with her longing expressed in outstretched arms towards the celestial moon.
