The Greek Goddess Asteria was the goddess of the stars, in particular of shooting stars. She lived on Mount Olympus and the stars were her domain.

In this drawing, I imagined Asteria as hanging and positioning the stars in the fields of clouds around Mount Olympus. This drawing is made of pastels of rose and light lavender on a lime green archival paper, with moon gold (18k) accents of the stars and crown and belt of Asteria.
