Part of the Hidden Paths collection inspired by Scotland.

In this painting, a dark nest of twisting roots forms a mysterious opening in the forest, like a little portal leading to the fairy realm. Ferns gather around the entrance, and an apple hangs above it, inviting the imagination to wander toward whatever might be waiting beyond.

I wanted the painting to feel intimate, with the kind of mystery that comes from discovering something unexpected while walking through the woods.

The painting is made with handmade iridescent watercolors on Acquarello watercolor paper, measuring 6.69 × 9.45 inches.

Unframed, packaged in a clear plastic sleeve and acid free cardboard backing.

Original, one of a kind, hand painted by Jessica Libor, 2026.
