Part of the Hidden Paths collection inspired by Scotland.

In this piece, a dark, twisting tree leans over the banks of a stream, its branches reaching across the landscape. Wild hydrangeas grow on the opposite bank, and a jet-black crow flies through the scene.

I wanted to capture the strength and character of the tree, along with the sparkling movement of the water and the feeling of a forest that has been growing for generations.

The painting is made with handmade iridescent watercolors on Acquarello watercolor paper, measuring 6.69 × 9.45 inches.

Unframed, packaged in a clear plastic sleeve and acid free cardboard backing.

Original, one of a kind, hand painted by Jessica Libor, 2026.
