Part of the Hidden Paths collection inspired by Scotland.

In this painting, an ancient castle rises from a thicket of berries and thorny branches, with dusky purple tones giving the scene a mysterious atmosphere. A faint rainbow appears overhead, bringing a little light into the landscape.

I wanted to capture the feeling of standing before a place that holds so much history, while also allowing the painting to become its own imagined world.

The painting is made with handmade iridescent watercolors on Acquarello watercolor paper, measuring 6.69 × 9.45 inches.

Unframed, packaged in a clear plastic sleeve and acid free cardboard backing.

Original, one of a kind, hand painted by Jessica Libor, 2026.
